The mission of the Timber Pointe Outdoor Center is to utilize the natural environment to help ensure that individuals with disabilities and their families have equal opportunity to live, learn, work, & play in their community.
Hundreds more campers participate in respite sessions, educational experiences, and specialized programming through the year. From safe & accessible facilities to the caring and capable assistance of counselors, program staff, & medical personnel, Timber Pointe is designed to meet the unique needs of each individual and their family.
Owned and operated by the Easter Seals, Timber Pointe Outdoor Center is a beautiful, wooded 160-acree facility located on Lake Bloomington, IL, and is accredited by the American Camp Association. More than five miles of paths and roadways wind through hardwood and pine forests providing easy access to wildlife habitats, cabins & lodges, overnight tent sites, & program areas.
This year more than 1,600 campers with a broad range of disabilities and special needs will benefit from the unique resources that Timber Pointe is able to provide during the summer season.
